We can extract the data from Canofile Magnetic (Magneto) Optical Disks. These Canon Diskfile 502M Media cartridges are double sided and have a tendency to degrade over time.
We can access this data and reissue in modern formats keeping the original index and image structure. We can also provide the index as a CSV table or name the files with the relevant index data.
Hard Drive Export
We can access Canofile for Windows data housed in Canofile For Windows software. Both from CD or directly from the Hard Drive HDD. Again we can export and reissue keeping the original keyword data and images. We can also provide the index as a CSV table or name the files with the relevant index data.
We can preserve the original file and index structure. For example we can provide images such as PDFs with the index / metadata in a CSV or Spreadsheet fashion ideal for import into new systems.
MS DOS CD’s
Some Canofile data is housed on MS DOS based CD’s. These are becoming increasingly more difficult to read as Operating Systems progress and CDs degrade. Again we can access, export and reissue retaining the original index and image structure. We can preserve the original file and index structure. For example we can provide images and change the file-name of the file to the respective keyword information attributed to those images.
